What’s the difference between online and offline marketing?

Online marketing helps brands get noticed.
Offline marketing helps them connect.

At Signal Group, we focus on face-to-face marketing because it creates real conversations and real impact. While digital ads build awareness, in-person engagement allows people to ask questions, build trust, and make confident decisions. It’s hands-on, people-focused work, and that’s what makes it powerful.

Is this a commission-only role?

We provide both a day-rate option and uncapped commission. Commission rewards those who want to push their earning potential, while the day rate offers consistency as you build confidence and skills. We want people to feel supported as they grow, not pressured from day one.

Do I need previous sales experience?

Many people join us without any prior sales or marketing experience. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to improving. We provide full training and ongoing support to help you succeed, regardless of where you’re starting from.

What kind of training is provided?

Our training is designed to help our team feel confident, capable, and supported.

We provide:

  • Hands-on, practical learning
  • Classroom-style theory sessions
  • One-to-one mentorship

From someones first day, they are paired with a dedicated trainer. Mornings focus on learning and development, while afternoons are about applying those skills in real-world situations. No one is ever expected to figure things out alone, we grow through guidance and practice.

What does a typical day look like?

Days are structured, balanced, and team-led.

For entry-level roles:

  • Mornings focus on training, goal-setting, meetings, workshops, and personal development.
  • Afternoons are spent in the field, putting your skills into action through face-to-face marketing.

Management roles follow a different rhythm, with more focus on leadership, planning, and coaching others.

Are there progression opportunities?

Yes, and you won’t be left to figure it out alone.

As we continue to grow across the UK and prepare for international expansion, new opportunities naturally open up. Progression is based on consistency, development, and performance, but it’s also supported with clear guidance, regular feedback, and mentoring along the way.

If you’re committed to learning and improving, we’ll help you build the skills and confidence to take your career to the next level

What do you look for in a candidate?

We value potential as much as experience.

We look for people who are:

  • Entrepreneurially minded
  • Willing to learn
  • Motivated to grow
  • Reliable and committed
  • Open to feedback and development

If you bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic, we can teach the rest.

How does the team celebrate success or recognise achievements?

Recognition is an important part of our culture.

We make a point of celebrating effort and achievement—whether through progression opportunities, bonuses, vouchers, team events, or travel incentives. Success is shared, acknowledged, and encouraged at every level.

How would you describe the company culture and work environment?

Ambitious, supportive, and team-oriented.

We’ve built an environment where people feel encouraged to challenge themselves and drive competition while knowing they’re supported. Our team is diverse, welcoming, and driven by shared goals. We celebrate wins together and drive each other to improve through the goals that we have.

What are the company’s goals for the future?

We’re growing with intention. We’ve had success, the next focus is scale.

Our focus is on expanding our footprint across the UK, followed by international growth. Over the next 12–18 months, we plan to establish a presence in the USA, starting with Miami and New York City. As we grow, we remain committed to developing our people alongside the business.

Why don’t you publicly list your clients?

Many of our clients operate under confidentiality agreements.

This allows us to protect their strategies and maintain the trust they place in us. While we can’t always name them publicly, we’re always open to discussing our experience, values, and the kind of work we deliver during the interview process.
